Subject: In support of Dr. Greg Brannon
I have one simple request. After listening to watching this video (27 minutes) if you
agree it is worthwhile forwarding to others, please do.
If you are conservative and believe in limited governance and your state's sovereignty
you will have to look long and hard to find like minded politicians.
Well, fortunately for me....I don't have to look very far. I found such a person, albeit
not a politician (at least not yet), right in my own backyard of Cary. His name is Greg
I've known Greg for several years, and each time I've heard him speak it has been
a breath of fresh air...for Dr. Brannon speaks as elected officials no longer speak.
Greg reveres the US Constitution as much as anyone and reminds us of what it means
even though too many Americans do no know how important it is.
He tells how much we 'lose' every time Congress is in session, as the people we elect
behave as though they on in the employ of the Federal government rather then the
people who elect them.
So, watch the video to see if Greg. Brannon is a person you want to be represent you.
To learn more about his campaign....go to the website... http://gregbrannon.com/
Lastly, consider contributing to Greg's campaign even if you are not a NC resident.
He faces an uphill battle not only against a Democratic incumbent but also a Republican
Party who too often are uncomfortable with true conservative positions.

Elect Greg Brannon to US Senate in North Carolina......
Like all great ideas, it started with a 'single piece of paper'....our "Declaration of Independence
Barack Obama and Kay Hagan think they've got it made.
Over the past few years, they've seen big spending, "Democrat Light" Republicans sell out our conservative values for the sake of "bipartisanship" or "political expedience."
And they think Tea Party folks and liberty activists like you and me just don't care anymore.
They think our commitment to the Constitution is a joke, and howl at the idea that North Carolina is a sovereign state.
They are wrong.
And with your help -- I will prove it to them.
My name is Greg Brannon, and I'm a pro-life OB/GYN Republican running for the U.S. Senate.
I am THE Tea Party, anti-establishment candidate in this race, and I'm running to put an end to the Big Government, big spending status quo in both political parties.
I hope to earn your support, first in the Republican Primary, and then to defeat Democrat Senator Kay Hagan.
I've enclosed a Critical Issues Survey I hope you will fill out.
But before I talk about the nuts-and-bolts of issues and policy, and give you the link to the Survey, I think you
should know more about me.
My younger brother and I were raised by a single mom in a working class neighborhood. She always set an example of hard work and determination.
Her rules were simple -- "go to school, go to church, or I'll kick your butt."
As a young boy, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor, and as a testament to my mother, in 1978, I earned a scholarship and became the first member of my family to go to college.
My wife, Jody, and I have been married for 25 years, and we have been blessed with seven beautiful children.
Six girls and a boy. In 2004, God placed the idea of adoption on our hearts -- and I'm proud to say that our three youngest girls were all adopted from China.
Jody and I first moved to North Carolina back in 1992.
As an avid golfer -- and a life-time fan of Senator Jesse Helms -- North Carolina was at the top of my list of where I wanted to live, work and raise a family.
So when UNC-Chapel Hill's Area Health Education Center (AHEC) offered me a job in 1992, Jody and I decided we would make North Carolina our home.
And it's been one of the best decisions of our lives.
Over the last 24 years, I've been blessed to work as an Obstetrician -- which means I've had the privilege of helping to bring more than 9,000 babies into the world.
Like most North Carolinians, I believe in the traditional American values of individual liberty, hard work, personal responsibility, and faith in God and family.
And Jody and I do our best to instill these values in our children. But Jody and I don't just teach our children traditional values -- we also do our best to lead by example.
That's why -- whether coaching sports, leading a men's Bible study group, volunteering at the local crisis pregnancy center, helping start a private Christian school, or traveling the world on Christian medical missions -- I've spent time helping others.
But with the madness coming out of Washington these days, quite frankly, I'm concerned for my children's future.
Of course, deciding to run for U.S. Senate wasn't the easiest decision I've ever made.
I've never held -- nor run -- for political office before.
But as a father of seven beautiful children, and a doctor who can tell you the full nightmare ObamaCare
will be, I can't sit on the sidelines any longer and watch the establishment destroy our children and grandchildren's future.
It seems like the establishment politicians have downright forgotten what made this country great.
But it's not just the big spending Democrats who are to blame for the mess our country is facing.
Establishment Republicans are also at fault.
The Republican leadership in Washington has continually caved in to Barack Obama on everything from increasing the debt ceiling to weakening the filibuster to raising our taxes.
I won't be that kind of Republican.
I'm not running for Senate to join the "good ole boys network" or become a member of the Big Government Republican establishment.
I'm running for Senate because, like the majority of North Carolinians, I've had enough of federal bureaucrats in Washington sticking their noses in our business.
I don't want a government that seeks to control citizens from the womb to beyond the tomb (Death Tax).
I want to get Washington out of North Carolina.
If elected to the U.S. Senate, you can count on me to:
SLASH Spending and Balance the Budget. The tax-and-spend mentality in Washington has our nation over $16 TRILLION in the hole. Instead of increasing the debt limit, Congress must learn to stick to a budget, just like the rest of us;
Secure our Borders. The most important function of the federal government is to defend our nation. And that includes securing our borders;
Cut Taxes. High taxes stifle innovation, destroy production, crush the middle class and the poor, and discourage investment. Every American is entitled to the fruits of their labor, and getting our government off our backs is the key to getting our economy moving again;
Protect our Second Amendment Freedoms. The Second Amendment is clear -- the right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed. I will lead the fight to protect our God-given right to keep and bear arms, and will work to fully restore the gun rights of law-abiding North Carolinians;
Protect North Carolina's Sovereignty. The federal government must be restrained by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and must stop regulating activities that are not within its authority;
Defend the Life of the Unborn.As a doctor who has delivered over 9,000 babies, I know firsthand how precious, fragile, and in need of protection human life is. I pledge to support all legislation that will reduce and end the horror of abortion in the U.S., both federally and at the state level.If you agree, I hope you'll fill out your Critical Issues Survey and pledge your support for my campaign.
Jane and John, my campaign platform isn't complicated.
I'm not running to create some new and expensive government program that will "fix" your life.
I believe you should be in charge of your life and the money you earn.
Of course, that's not exactly "music to the ears" of the special interest lobby and establishment politicians in Washington.
They want to keep spending sky-high. And they want to elect and re-elect politicians who will keep the treasury doors open.
In this Senate election, they know I'm not "their guy."
I'm not running to represent them.
I'm running to represent you.
So if I've earned your support, I hope I can count on your generous financial support, as well.
In times like these, I believe its critical good folks like you and me stand up for what's right.
We need more citizen-statesmen.
We need fewer career politicians.
But as I told you, I can't do it without your help.
The fact is, the best ideas in the world don't amount to anything if they aren't heard.
Your contribution will help me pay for mailings, advertisements, yard signs, flyers and other costs associated with contacting voters across North Carolina.
I understand only a few people are able to afford $2,600 ($5,200 per couple) -- the maximum legal amount under federal law.
But if you are such a person, I believe this race is an investment worth making.
But I also understand that $50 or $100 may be all many folks can give. In fact, I know for some even $15 or $25 is a sacrifice.
Whatever amount you can afford, your contribution will be greatly appreciated and put to immediate use -- and I promise to be a careful steward of your trust.
So please, join me in this fight by making a generous contribution to my campaign for U.S. Senate.
And please be sure and fill out your Critical Issues Survey and pledge your support for my campaign.
Together, you and I can Restore the American Dream.
Greg Brannon, MD
P.S. My name is Doctor Greg Brannon, and I'm the anti-establishment, Tea Party, pro-life Republican candidate running to be your next U.S. Senator.
I'm running for Senate to put an end to the Big Government, big spending status quo in Washington that's pushed our country to the brink.
