NORTH CAROLINA CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 10 CANDIDATE FORUM
SATURDAY, MARCH 19TH, 2016
Asheville Tea PAC is sponsoring a North Carolina 10th Congressional District Candidate Forum between 3PM and 5PM on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 on the second floor of the Skyland Fire Department, 9 Miller Road, Skyland, NC. The Forum is free and open to the public. The press is welcome.
Carl Mumpower, PhD, our moderator, is a well-known and respected member of our community. He is probably best known for The Candid Conservative column which has appeared in many of our local newspapers. Dr. Mumpower also served as a member of the Asheville City Council.
Mr. Jeff Gregory and Dr. Albery Wiley, both running against incumbent Patrick McHenry in the June 7th Congressional Primary, will be in attendance.
Chair Jane Bilello emphasized, “Congressman Patrick McHenry's consistent voting with progressives and catering to special interests as evidence in his voting record is scrutinized on these sites: Conservative Review: F. Heritage Action: F 58%. NumbersUSA: D. We have not invited McHenry to participate in this Forum because, as you can see, we have his long and abysmal voting record. Our goal is to find a candidate who best represents the People, respects Constitutional authority, and who will not cater to special interest groups. So, if you want to help make that change, please join us to find out more about Mr. Jeff Gregory and Dr. Albert Wiley, and to thank them for stepping up. Audience participation is encouraged.“
The topics for questions will include the following: preserving our Second Amendment rights, immigration, amnesty, visa program, property rights, government surveillance (cell phones, drones), debt, deficit, Obamacare, national security, refugee situation, executive orders, Common Core, states’ rights, planned parenthood, religious freedom.
Please join us this Saturday before the June 7th Congressional filing period ends on March 27th to meet the NC 10 candidates. Please bring your questions. The event is free, open to the public, and the press is welcome.
Asheville Tea PAC is dedicated to bringing the people back into the election process by their participation to replace compromised incumbents with good men and women who commit to fiscal responsibility through Constitutional authority. We focus on finding principled candidates, vetting, endorsing, and campaigning to get them elected. We then hold them accountable.
THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS AND ELECTION RESULTS HERE
