Absentee Ballot Voter Fraud Letter to NCGA

Dear NC House GOP Representatives Adams; J. Adcock; Arp; Blackwell; Blust; Boles; Brawley; Brenden Jones; Brisson; Brody; Bumgardner; Burr; Clampitt; Cleveland; Collins; Conrad; Corbin; Davis; Destin Hall; Dixon; Dobson; Dollar; Dulin; Faircloth; Ford; Fraley; K. Hall; Hardister; Hastings; Henson; Horn; Howard; Hurley; Iler; Johnson; Jordan; Lambeth; Lewis; Malone; McElraft; McGrady; McNeill; Muller; Murphy; Pittman; Potts; Riddell; Rogers; Ross; Saine; Sauls; Setzer; Shepard; Speciale; Steinburg; Stone; Strickland; Szoka; Torbett; R. Turner; Warren; Watford; White; Yarborough; Zachary

Only citizens and NC residents should be turning in absentee ballots in 2020.  The Floyd Amendment that you voted for last session strips away that assurance.  Unfortunately, the poor and misguided leadership of David Lewis led the charge.  For years the Dems have been pushing for this but it was met with GOP resistance.  So, what happened to the NC House Republicans, except Michelle Presnell, who voted to turn NC into the California-style absentee ballot chaos by a vote of 106- 1!  You, the GOP, just made it easier for illegal aliens and non North Carolinians to commit voter fraud in 2020 using absentee ballots!

At issue is the gutted requirement in SB824 for absentee voters to tie themselves to a government entity, like DMV or the Social Security Administration.  Before the sneaky Floyd amendment, those requesting an absentee ballot had to provide . . .

a.The number of the voter’s North Carolina drivers license issued under Article 2 of Chapter 20 of the General Statutes, including a learner’s permit or a provisional license.
b. The number of the voter’s special identification card for  nonoperators issued under G.S. 20-37.7.
c. The last four digits of the applicant’s social security number.

In this session, you have a chance to fix the Floyd Amendment problem and amend  Senate Bill 683 to  reinstate those elements of Personally Identifying Information (called “P-I-I”) for absentee voters.

You are setting North Carolina up for a disaster in 2020 if you do not get rid of this egregious amendment.  You are supposed to be assuring North Carolinians of free and fair elections.  Only citizens and North Carolinians should be voting.   We’ve lost the governorship, the conservative majority on the NC Supreme Court, the GOP super majority in the House, and every judicial race.  You will lose your seats if you don’t fix the Floyd Amendment. We are a hairs breath from turning NC deep blue.  You, the GOP, are assuring that NC will turn into another progressive failed state. Do your jobs and protect our votes! Get rid of the Floyd Amendment and require absentee voters to be tied to a government entity.  We will turn this into a re-election issue if this is not resolved.

Sincerely,
