Continue To Demand Govt ID on NC Absentee Ballot. Nix Floyd. Pass SB250 with transparency clause.

We don't want the NC legislature to leave Raleigh before they fix the issue of absentee ballot govt ID by getting rid of the Floyd Amendment.  We also need to assure that Senate Bill 250, a law to help election officials detect, remove, and prosecute non-citizen voters, is passed with the original version of Senate Bill 250 clause that assures transparency.

Our concern it that the NC House will fix the budget, and leave.  Don't let that happen.  If you want to see election victories for  President Trump, Dan Forest, Mark Keith Robinson, our other council of state candidates, and our constitutionally conservative judges,  demand each legitimate vote in NC is counted.

Remember, we lost the governorship, our super majority in the NC House, the NC Supreme Court, and every judicial race.  Without legitimate voter ID on absentee ballots, these races will go the way of the District 3 Congressional race.  We've lost the governorship.  We lost a conservative majority of 5 to 2 on the NC Supreme Court to a 6 liberal progressive to 1 conservative minority. We lost our super -majority in the NC House, and every judicial race!  We are poised to lose NC to the Left permanently. We must secure our votes!

You need to CALL REP DAVID LEWIS at  919-715-3015  David.Lewis@ncleg.net and SPEAKER TIM  MOORE at 919-733-3451 Tim.Moore@ncleg.net and continue to tell them  to protect our elections by removing the Floyd Amendment that Lewis allowed to be snuck into 2018’s voter ID law that will make California-style absentee ballot chaos the new normal in North Carolina.

At issue (see Page 2, Lines 26-32) gutted the requirement for absentee voters to tie themselves to a government entity, like DMV or the Social Security Administration. Before the Sneaky Floyd amendment, those requesting an absentee ballot had to provide . . .

a. The number of the voter’s North Carolina drivers license issued under Article 2 of Chapter 20 of the General Statutes, including a learner’s permit or a provisional license.
b. The number of the voter’s special identification card for nonoperators issued under G.S. 20-37.7.
c. The last four digits of the applicant’s social security number.

In addition to demanding the removal of the Floyd Amendment, Senate Bill 250, a law to help election officials detect, remove, and prosecute non-citizen voters, needs to be passed but with the original version of Senate Bill 250 clause back into the law:

(FYI clarification: Jury duty names come from the local Board of Elections (BOE).  After the names are researched for legitimate citizen status, those disqualified - like illegals and felons - are sent back to the BOE.  The public needs to know who they are, not just the BOE. We need transparency and public oversight to assure that those disqualified are scrubbed from the voter rolls so they don't vote.   This transparency also will discourage illegals and others to not register to vote.  This is also why we need to have legal govt ID on absentee ballots because these same illegals and felons on the voter rolls will vote.)

The original wording in SB 250 needs to be put back into the bill so it reads ...

“If a person is excused from jury duty for any reason to [voting] qualifications . . . the record of his or her name, address, reason for excusal, and the date of excusal shall be a public record under G.S. 132-1.”

Put the clause back into the law.

--------------------

Then, contact your NC House representatives and tell them to nix Floyd Amendment by amending Senate Bill 683, to reinstate those elements of Personally Identifying Information (called “P-I-I”) for their absentee voters, Namely:

a) The number of the voter’s North Carolina drivers license issued under Article 2 of Chapter 20 of the General Statutes, including a learner’s permit or a provisional license.
b. The number of the voter’s special identification card for non-operators issued under G.S. 20-37.7.
c. The last four digits of the applicant’s social security number.

Remove the Floyd Amendment because is makes voter impersonation fraud easier to commit than it was before we have a voter ID law on the books.

We will turn this into an election issue for them if not rectified. So, please keep the pressure on.
